Yeah I can't wait to watch that one. Intense racing tonight. Both of us in the top 15. Not bad with the level of drivers in that group.

Also Can-Am did not go well. Haack slammed in turn 1, lap 1. And it went downhill from there. Ehh.

At least they got the good side of my car. The right side was destroyed by that point in the race. I doubt you'll have to run it. You usually qualify top 15, normally better than that. I know I'll be in it, I normally qualify....last. 30 laps to from worst to first, well sixth at least. It'll be tough but based on the races so far I can climb through the field fine. But this is a sprint, we haven't run anything like that in this series yet, should be fun. And by fun I mean frustrating and full of cursing. I'm a long haul driver and I can wait around and be patient. Its gonna be new to me. If you qualify in you should join the lobby so I have someone to talk to during the race.

We should have done a practice session last night. Next time we have a B-main, lets try to set one up the night before.

Not only did we both finish, we pulled 11th and 12th out of that! What?! Great race man. That was everything I had to hold you off right there at the end. Hell of a good time. I actually enjoyed that track. The car got way loose instead of way tight. My kind of racing.

Yeah, the looseness caught me off guard. I was expecting tight and it really bit me mid race. I don't like that track, but that was a lot of fun. I was hoping we could sneak into the top 10, but I'll take it for sure. That was a fun battle. I wanted to pass you, but I was more trying to make sure Al didn't get by either of us...haha. I have to admit, I was NOT sad to see the 13 go spinning. He had that coming.

Sorry I had to split right after the race. Wife needed help with a baked mac and cheese, and my fat ass NEVER says no to baked mac and cheese!

Can't blame you there man. Mac and cheese is the SHIT. I squeezed you as much as I could every turn so you didn't get a run off. I had 10th until the 13 went around. I gave him a shot (well deserved) as he was sliding. Knocked me out of top 10 but worth it. Very satisfying.

CARS Racing Tour is partnering with CRA to host a Late Model and Super Late Model series on iRacing. Supposedly its open to anyone and drivers from the actual CARS Racing Tour will be participating.

AAR Wolfpack, I know you said you were getting into the Late Models, and thought this might be right up your alley. Piihb I know this is right up your alley. Below is the link to the announcement and the rules. Open set up, so free reign to do what you want. I think there is a $10 fee to join (for broadcast) for the 10 race series, or $2 per race. Might be fun.

Hmmm. Interesting. Depending on what else is going on series wise I may look into this. I don't have very much time at all to race at the moment. Currently out Thursday night series is all I do. How are the super late models? I haven't downloaded it and I have become not a big fan of the late model, that thing is a pig. Takes too much time to get a fast tune.

There are a lot more adjustment options on the super. Its obviously faster, and its fun to drive. But I found it is more sensitive to damage than the late model. You can take down a wall in the late model and not lose time. I found if I touched a wall in the super it killed lap times.

Well that makes sense. Those things run more to downforce than a cup car before the low downforce package. I would expect it to be sensitive to damage. Depending on my schedule and the race schedule I may go that route.

You going to make the race tonight?  If you have to do the update, only check the late model and south boston...it'll go quicker.

I thought about buying them to run on the official races. Went with the arca car instead though.

question to ask you guys about iracing i have (sorry i meant steam) (not stream) will that come out right away for payment and is it easy to do? and what is the cost if i like to buy others like cars trucks and others?

If you are talking about a new subscription then yeah, it will come out right away. Before you do though check for a new subscription code. I think LSRTV has one where you get an extra car at no extra charge. I can't remember what the code is. Watch one of their streams on YouTube and they say the code all the time. Hope you decide to buy in. If you have the time to race it's worth it.

So does anyone know if the new tire models will be a part of the Sebring race? I did the updates earlier today, I'm sure we'll have a ton more later in the week and weekend, but I just wanted to have them downloaded for when I get a chance to run again.

Also, we need to get the list ready for stints this weekend. I am open to any time slot, as I'll be home all day in case someone can't make a stint. I think we have 4 drivers which will cut down greatly on in car time over the 12 hours. Should we just throw names on the list, send it out, and see what everyone thinks of the times they are assigned?

And lastly, DIRT is coming SOON! I for one am in a state of constant anxiety waiting for it to appear out of nowhere. Although, iracing did say late this month so I guess I'll be waiting a little longer.

I hate to do this man, but I'm going to have to bail on the afternoon.  My sister and brother in law ran into some issues and we have to take their kids this Saturday.  I can do a few early stints but I have to be off by 11am.  Yeah, I would throw the names on the list and see what people say.

I'm not sure about the tire model.  I plan to download the updates when I get home from work.  

Who knows on DIRT.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed though.

Looking good man, can't wait til September. I'm currently waiting to hear about time off at work. That's a black out week but I spoke to my boss man and he said he'll see what he can do about getting me friday off. If so I'll be heading your way overnight and hopefully make it early Friday morning.
