At Laguna Seca, Wolfpack continued with his consistency, piloting the #88 US Navy Camaro to a victory and second place finish in California. The #4 Dodge Challenger of Squid also takes home a win and a runner up trophy. Stalker, in his #90 Roush Mustang, finished third in both GTS races, with the Maserati of Pablo in 4th and Acura of Oddball in 5th, rounding out the top five in both races.
Warspite's #32 Badboys Corvette takes the double, winning on his first and second attempts. Hunter lead for 8 laps until the Corvette overtook the Mclaren and never looked back. Moesavy in the #20 Cadillac managed to get by the #45 Mclaren for second, Hunter finishes third in race one. The night cap saw Warspite leave the line from the pole and off into the sunset, followed by GT points leader Sainted and second place driver Dr PiiHB. The #3 Porsche and #1 Nissan had no chance of catching the Corvette, while the McLaren of Manuel finishes forth just in front of Moesavy. A strong field of thirteen drivers started on the grid, eleven separated by less than a half second in best lap comparisons.
Monday's race is a double point event, one race, 22 laps make up round 9, so the qualifying session will be very important. Ten different winners in sixteen races, who will be the fastest, most consistent driver for 90 miles? Will we see another first time winner in GT & GTS? We will find out Monday June 2nd from one of the oldest and most distinguished of all the tracks in North America, live from Elkhart Lake Wisconsin, it's Road America.
Racing Note: Much like Laguna Seca, Road America was conceived during a time when racing on public roads was becoming too dangerous to justify. Pressure from race organizers and government officials led to the abandonment of racing on the roads near Elkhart Lake, and ultimately to the construction of Road America in the span of just five months. Unlike virtually every course of its age, Road America has managed to maintain its original four mile, 14-turn layout (except for the addition of a chicane during modern AMA races)—despite a major renovation of the track facilities in 1992, all of the elevation changes and sharp turns have been preserved, making Road America a course that must be carefully studied to master. Highlights includes Turn 6, located under the Corvette Bridge, where a small hill obstructs the view to the blind left-hander beyond, and the steep climb up the final straight that makes overtaking through speed alone a formidable struggle. With its sharp turns, hilly terrain and long straights, Road America needs special attention to detail, especially getting power down from the turns to the straights. Gearing is critical on this track and so is having the testículos to go flat out through the kink.
Schedule Note: TC/TCB Races have been moved to Sunday evenings. Practice schedule & session times subject to change, dependent upon driver availability.

Finally a track that my car likes. The first of two this season. Lets see how she holds up to the double length side of things. Good luck to everyone except warspite, you'll need it. Warspite will probably be looking at me through the rearview.

The Skyline is very nice round here, I made a Caddy tune for fun (Don't want to "overdrive" my car in practice) if you want, I can take a look at the Cereal Box Toy for ya?

I appreciate it but I have it hooked up. It is incredible here. This thing lives for high speed corners and top end. I aim to give you some competition this week. Should be awesome.

Well I finally love this car. I've been fighting it all season and have finally fallen in love. That's hard to say about a non American car. But I do like this thing. This race will be great. Just a heads up, the car is flying around this circuit.

Well bring it buddy. You better be putting down some crazy times if you want a shot. I know there's only a couple people out there running times near where I'm at. I don't know where Moe is but with you still having the power in that big V8 it might be close. I know you'll have me on top end but this baby is loving these high speed corners. What I remember from driving the caddy here before it likes this track too. So bring it on and we'll see who ends up at the front tonight. Good luck to you.

175 on the second straight after turn 2.... Not saying which car but it involves a V8.

hey man, do your thing. My honest first thought was that you might have not been in a bucket, we've all done it at least once lol "wow this things so fast... oh" xD But hey if youre doing that more power to you lol. Ill be the guy trying to hold on to piihbs coat tails here. Double points means double trouble. Ill need a bit of luck here yet again to not end up tied with pihhb in points because its looking like he may take the points lead. So far i know he was a few tenths on me. Maybe Duty will pull through with some amazing tune like he did at Laguna and ill pickup half a second.

Oh I did fail to mention this small fact...
175 on the straight, 0 downforce means it slides like a hooker drenched in apple sauce in the sweeping turns, does that restore your confidence?
Don't worry ill bring it along next time everyones around if you like, that way you can admire the straight line capability then enjoy the entertainment of a Super Saloon *accidently* drifting every exit, I could turn TCS on to help but dayum... the car sounds so nice when you do let it rip.

Was it in the correct bucket? Could play a part if it was not in the right power bucket. Wolfpack does that or just runs the wrong track haha.

Just to clear it up:
Yes it was in the correct bucket, No the car won't work on laptimes as it was only setup to do 175 by sacrificing all methods of handling.

It's not the car i'll be driving though so don't worry, just built a ton of others to see what im up against, and tune mine to counter it.
For example the Cadillac, Audi, Porsche and R35 have both the Straights and the Corner Exit acceleration, whilst my Vette is a very stable car and is already a good late-breaking handling monster, I just take a little of that away to work towards what they thrash me on and Wallah!
If you must know the car I tested to get the 175 statement on, was the Mercedes C63 AMG (I think that's the name), just wanted to see why it wasn't chosen whether it was performance or ease of tuning, the car looks great so that was a surprise on its own, I won't be driving it don't worry, its a bit.... too fast in the straights for me.

Eh ill hop on for a little bit if youre up to it piihb. And @Warspite, our cars may have had the straight from the build on the storefront, but such is no longer the case. My car has almost all the tire width it had gone, and it has an extra 90 or something lbs. It still feels like a porsche, but it doesnt have the same things going for it as it did when i got in it. Same goes for Moe's Caddy and Piihb's Nissan. We have all been steadily losing bits to our cars with each good race week. Comparing my car now to what it was on motegi in the first race im almost two seconds slower if that helps give you an idea of what the cars are actually doing after our few weeks of adjustments.

Wear it as a badge of honor that you have to be "de"tuned. I love it. I have added weight and lost hp and tire could be next if need be. I feel better about it then early in the season when I needed more "PI".

As for Sainted, yea I did forget that personally, when testing I did all the cars at the standard PI Stang produced for people to start from, only car in exception is my Vette which is what I was comparing to at its reduced PI build.
So yea sorry guys wasn't a fair test, I know everyone here pretty much now has a "Unique" car and the only way to test/compare is Live in the lobby.
Just a quick note though, myself and Stang have a huge surprise to be revealed soon.

Well Mitsubishi is back!! I hoping to make noise on this track in some way or the other. I no fast on the straights, nor in the breaking zones, but I do have corner exit acceleration and that I WILL exploit!! Trying to block me on corner exit is futile. Bring on the track made for monster V8's and American muscle. Time to show 4 bangers don't only do short tracks. Almost no aero, and 4WD, this will be interesting.

Very exciting race with Sainted and Maxx. With Hunter before his Lagout.
About the bullshit, thats part of racing, sometimes you wreck (I read something on another post), sometimes you made a clean season.
I got wrecked on the second round at Motegi and leaders laped me there, but I´m still here to see what can I find at the end of the season.
Lobby host, check the cars and buckets before the Qualy, i found something there.
Congrats to Hannibal and Warspite.

Just wanted to apologize for my outburst. It is part of racing. I didn't ask for a restart for that reason. I wrecked and that happens. My anger was not at the fact that I wrecked but the circumstances and the original incident, not the one that ended my race. Hope everyone had a great time. I'm it leaving the series. Just had a car that would not have completed and ended up last anyways. I was too upset at the time to finish the race without doing more harm than good. Decided to park it behind the wall and cuss at myself rather than a friend. See you guys Friday at practice.

I got lapped at motegi too. But I'm not here for cars to run off track them come right back on in front of the field then get corner chopped while in last place. You can stay and find out what you find at the end of the seasons that's your choice. I know what I will find at the end of the season the same spot I'm in now.
