Cadillac dominated the podium in GT at Sunset, scoring a win, a pair of seconds and a third place finish for the weekend. Roscoe's #14 CTS-V landed himself on the middle step twice, once behind teammate Moesavy, then behind the #7 Bentley of Warspite. Despite rolling the #3 B&N Porsche, Sainted managed to hold onto the points lead with a 4th and 7th place finish. Dr PiiHB's #1 Hawk Performance Nissan GT-R was running top of the board lap times, only to have separate issues in both races, hampering his finishing positions, he's 16 points clear of Roscoe, in second place. Newcomer, EmmettsDaddy, finish 5th in both events in his #33 Gallardo.
Wolfpack got his #88 Chevrolet Camaro SS back on track by winning the first race of the evening, but could only manage a 6th place finish in the night cap. The second race belonged to the #89 Evo driven by Blakey, as he took advantage of other driver's mistakes and now sits comfortably in third place in the GTS driver standings, 7 points from second. Pablo followed up his 7th place finish in race one, with a second step run in his #81 Maserati, for race two. The Roush Mustang of Stalker pulled off a pair of third place finishes and continues to hold second place in the GTS overall driver standings. Simcik claims the 4th spot in both races, with R3tro following behind for a couple of top fives.
From one high speed, high banking track, to another, Indianapolis is the next stop on the schedule. Operating continuously for more than a century, Indy is an American icon for racing. With only a few weeks left on the schedule, the two rounds at Indy may prove to be the turning point for some and a dropping off point for others, either way, there should be some fantastic racing upcoming.
It's the Indy Grand Prix from the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway!
Racing Note: Indy’s two-and-a-half-mile rectangular oval is made up of four quarter-mile turns, two 5/8 mile straightaways and two eighth-mile “short chutes.” Complementing the historic oval since 2000 is the infield course, which incorporates the southwest oval turn to make up its 2.6-mile circuit. Tuning for both the high banks and the infield is futile, know your car's limitations and capitilize on it's stregths.
Schedule Note: Practice schedule & session times subject to change, dependent upon driver availability.
Ill be there tonight to run the hosting duties Max.

The Mitsues were solid at Sunset but good ol Jimmy John has been quoted in saying the SRTs look Freaky Fast at Indy.

I probably can make it today for the race. I just finished adjusting my gearing and a little tune set up.
My best time so far is 29,0. (Keeping the tires inside of the boundaries of the track marked by the white línes. Maybe can be faster and clean if I shave some corners, but is not my style)

In the Nissan I can hit well inside a 28 lap. Unfortunately I am jumping to a much slower car for the rest of the season. It feels much better under cornering and heaving acceleration but loses a lot of top end and accel. It drops me over a second on this course.

you mean you believe in Duty? The effort he puts in is phenomenal. Though i do twist certain things to taste its a great effort on his part. Thats why he is able ot do so well himself, several podiums out the gate is all due to that. Not sure what happened at sunset though.

Good run at the end there with roscoe. I think i coulda pushed the issue a few times but there was no need, either way he had me pretty good. it was a tight one. Moe is INCHING on Piihb, and the same goes for Roscoe. There might yet be 2 Caddys on the championship podium.

Yet more bullshit for me this week. Once again with just a few laps to go someone decides to unhook the fucking modem. The one race that I am actually ahead of sainted. My luck just keeps getting worse. I can't catch a break.
