PI Adjustments Empty
PostSubject: PI Adjustments   PI Adjustments EmptySat 03 May 2014, 5:56 pm

I will be doing things a little differently this year regarding how PI adjustments are applied.

First, I am calculating the changes based on the average lap time instead of just the fastest lap time like I did this season. This will pull some PI from the faster drivers and add some to the slower folks.

Second, How you apply the PI adjustment is entirely up to you, as long as you stick to the following parameters:

  1. No Race Brakes, Dampers, or ARBs
  2. No Sport or Race Transmissions or Differentials
  3. Tire width may not change without authorization from the series director via a formal build change request
  4. Rim size must remain stock diameter. And please stick with the style of rims that would be found on actual race cars. NO FREAKING LEXANI's, DUB's, ETC.
  5. No cam or displacement changes without authorization from the series director via a formal build change request
  6. No Engine, Drivetrain or Aspiration swaps
  7. The car must maintain a race roll cage as indicated on the VTS sheet
  8. All aero bits must remain as proscribed on the VTS sheet (I believe all cars require stock aero components other than the TCB Abarth which utilizes Novitec components to accurately represent the 500 Pop).
  9. The build of the car must remain as close as possible to the original configuration as outlined on the VTS sheet.

We'll give this a shot for a while. If it works, great. If not, I'll go back to dictating what parts go on which car.
