HERE2.13.2.1: SCCA Pro will award Championship points and maintain the point standings to determine a Drivers’ Champion in each vehicle class. Points will be awarded drivers based on their final positions at each event as follows:
1 - 28 points
2 - 24 points
3 - 21 points
4 - 19 points
5 - 17 points
6 - 15 points
7 - 14 points
8 - 13 points
9 - 12 points
10 - 11 points
11 - 10 points
12 - 9 points
13 - 8 points
14 - 7 points
15 - 6 points
16 - 5 points
2.13.2.2: Points will be awarded to qualifiers in each class as follows:
1 - 3 points
2 - 2 points
3 - 1 point
2.13.2.3: One (1) point will be awarded to any driver who leads a lap in each class, and One (1) point to the driver that leads the most laps in each class during the race. In case of a tie, the driver with the highest finishing position will be awarded the points. Additional bonus championship point schedules may be added, or amended, during the season.
2.13.2.4: Ties in the final point standings in any of the Championships will be decided based upon the number of first place finishes in class; then, if necessary, the number of second place finishes, etc.
2.13.2.5: A driver must be classified as a starter to earn Championship points.
