So I did it....finally did it.  I ran in the Lemons race over the weekend at Thompson Motorsports Park.  We blew up after 5 hours, but I don't even care.  It was AMAZING!  AMAZING!!  There were 102 cars entered in the race.  Yes you read that right, 102.  On two occasions, I was in the middle of three wide in the hairpin, and we were three wide three rows deep.  So that settles it....I'm building the Miata into a Lemons/ChumpCar.  I've spent the last two nights researching and putting together a budget.  It will probably take me till next Aug to be race ready, but I'm doing it.  Here are some pics for your viewing pleasure.
