We will run 2 qualifying races before the season begins, one with all racers in GT and the other in Prototypes. Since most races tend to result in clusters of drivers around the same lap times, the fastest cluster will be in the Prototypes for the season and the slower clusters will be in GT cars. We'll also adjust the builds for parity, but bear in mind, each car will have it's own particular strength or weakness, so choose wisely.

Qualifying will take place immediately prior to each race and will be 3 laps in length*. Qualifying will utilize a 3 second roll off between each car.
*Nurburgring and LeMans will be set by average finish position (reverse) championship points with a 1 second roll off per car
Races begin with a standing start based on qualifying results.

Qualifying will begin promptly at 8pm Eastern. To ensure an on-time start, please be online, ready to race at least 10 minutes and in the lobby at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

Pre-Series Activities:
14 Oct 2013 Sunset Full (R) - Qualifying Races, 10 laps each (5 Championship Points)
After races, classes will be split into PRO and AM categories with points accumulating for overall, class, and PRO and AM Championships over the entire season
21 Oct 2013 Benchmark Layout A- Parc Expose (2 Championship Points)

28 Oct 2013 Sebring Full - 20 laps

Basically, it's a photo op. I wanted to do it before Sunset, but we only had the 6 cars. I'd like to do it when we have a full(er) field.
