God damn it!!! Sped on pit road, went from 2nd to 22nd.....worked all the way back through the field to 7th. Spun the tires on the restart and wreck myself and at least 3 other cars. I am an A-HOLE!! Thanks for watching guys.

Well I pulled off a top 5.  Not bad considering I hate this track.

The video broke up at like lap 88 but re-stared as a new video.  Check out Iowa Finale_1.....on lap 39 me and the 96 make contact and he spins.  Everyone blamed me cause I was 1/2 a lane up, but I swear he came down on me.

Iowa Finale picks up on lap 89 and goes to the end.

I was watching last night. Good recovery from the pit road speeding penalties. I'm going to take another look at the specs and see if my laptop can support iRacing.

Yeah I am terrible at pit stops....I need more practice. The end of longest line penalty for wrecking the 96 hurt too. I kept shooting myself in the foot, but fortunately I missed the wrecks.

I was disappointed in the car count last night. Our smallest field until the last two races was like 25 or 26 guys. New season starts in 2 weeks though, so hopefully it will pick back up.

When I raced NR2003, it was usually a couple of friends and I then the rest of the field was filled with AI. Sucked at Bristol, but made Talladega and Daytona more tolerable.

Watching last night, I was definitely having some NR2003 flashbacks though!

Oh yeah, It was built using the NR2003 code as a baseline and they steadily made improvements. That's one thing I like about iRacing...no AI at all. All races are real live people. Some of them are annoying and you want to kick in the teeth. But for the most part it is good racing and not a lot of stupid AI mistakes.

I highly recommend it, and if you are into short track racing CAN-AM (http://canamracingseries.com/) is a great series.

I was overheating and moved to switch....then the #9 runs me over. Was his fault for not checking up when there was not going to be room, or was it mine for trying to switch on the tandem?

Did you send me a new build?  I didn't see any changes to the build on the forum.

And I don't suck.  I ran the Dega 500 yesterday....thats right boys and girls, 500 miles at Talledega.  Started 41st, moved to 25th in the first 5 laps and rode till the first pit stop.  Found a drafting partner and moved to 12th and rode for about 200 miles.  Worked my way to 6th with 80 to go.  Cautions were few and far between so we all knew it was going to come down to mileage.  Even conserving fuel I worked my way to the lead and ran between the lead and 4th for about 40 laps.  I pitted with 44 to go, knowing a full tank would goes 43 laps driving balls out.  Conserve, Conserve, Conserve.....that was the name of the game.  If I can save enough fuel for 1 lap, I'll win the race...........

The white flag comes out.....and the fuel ran dry.  Coasted the 2.6 miles to a 15th place finish.  Eh.  I guess maybe I do suck....Damn It!!
