Project CARS is the most authentic, beautiful, intense, and technically-advanced racing game on the planet.
Create a driver, pick from a variety of motorsports, and shift into high gear to chase a number of Historic Goals and enter the Hall Of Fame. Then test your skills online either in competitive fully-loaded race weekends, leaderboard-based time challenges, or continually-updated community events.
Featuring world-class graphics and handling, a ground-breaking dynamic time of day & weather system, and deep tuning & pit stop functionality, Project CARS leaves the competition behind in the dust.
Race on over 60 unique tracks including closed circuits and point-to-point locations at any time of day and in ever-changing weather conditions.
Play pre-defined championships in Season Mode, or create your own, including multi-class racing. You can also visit the Test Track to tweak under the hood in on-track testing.

*UPDATE*
Slightly Mad Studios is proud to announce a new partnership with the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, organizers of the world-famous 24 Hours of Le Mans, that will allow gamers to experience the world’s biggest motor race in Project CARS.
Players will be given the unique opportunity to tackle one of motorsport’s most daunting and challenging tasks, a high-speed race twice around the clock at day & night, rain or shine.
Project CARS will be the first racing game to properly simulate all the aspects that make the Le Mans 24 Hours one of the most challenging racing events in the world, as gamers will be given the chance to run the event in real-time, facing a full grid of 55 opponents on track.

I have just seen this. Every time something new gets released for this game I want it more. Can not wait for release. I will have to start looking for a wheel setup to use now so it will be ordered and shipped when I pick up the game. Last time I was this excited about a game it was fm5, and we all saw how that turned out. Hopefully this will live up to the hype behind it.

Figured I would be alone there. Maybe one other of us but wasn't sure. Either way I will be holding it down for nein shiza. You know we have to dominate everything or our ruthless leader isn't satisfied. Just eager to see if the physics will be there. It looks amazing and the track list and car list is outstanding. I would like to see more cars but if the driving is great then I can't complain. Guess we'll find out in a few months.

Try using the forum "youtube" app listed in the edit panel, insert the url in the dropdown. Or wrap [you tube] (no spaces) around just the file name extension, not the whole protocol/domain. Or use < iframe > (no spaces) to embed the entire player.
Hope that helps
PS. It's not a UK issue, it's a user issue. LOL

I asked the Dev's and its confirmed that there is *NO* painting in the game. You can only do it on the PC version by using paintshop.

"Sebastien Loeb Racing has a GT3 Mc Laren MP4/12C, race ready conditions. The car can be seen in Sebastien Loeb Racing's workshop in France, and the team offers staff (engineer and mechanics) together with a reference driver for the first day of testing as well as some data and set up advice to help the new owner to quickly understand the car. I kind of said the same thing and they basically said that its not in the plans and its not something they want to implement beyond allowing people on PC to mod the car skins with microsoft paint. So that P1 Audi that says "Mitch&Ellen's Race Tyre" is staying that way, and nothing you can do.

Just watched a video from gamescon. There is no currency or leveling in the game. Everything is unlocked from the get go. You choose where to start in your career and race the career you want. You can start in any class or car and build a career to fit your "dream". Pretty cool idea.

A few notes of interest...
All vehicles are non-upgradable and come pre-installed with the best parts possible. It has a deep tuning system with full control over all aspects of the car's performance. Troubleshoot common problems by checking with the in-game Engineer, get useful hints on technical details via the Digital Manual.
There's exactly zero chance of microtransactions since there is no concept of money ingame. The career mode is based around earning drives with race teams through your prowess on track.
Free Practice, Qualifying, Warm-up Laps, Safety Car, Rolling/Standing Start is all adjustable in career mode. Up to 64 cars on track, confirmed for PC, most likely around 32 for consoles.
Servers stress tested for 30+ users, however they're aiming towards 16-20 players in an online session for stability for consoles. (PS4/XB1)
Livery editor via Photoshop has been confirmed for PC, with only one design (placemarker) per car (file). From what I'm reading in the build revisions, they seem to be adding more placemarkers for "special liveries", not sure if this is for Next-Gen or just PC.
