GT points leader Sainted, found his groove at Tsukuba, taking rounds ten and eleven in his #3 B&N Porsche 911 GT3. The #7 Team M-Sport Bentley driven by Warspite, surprised the field by navigating that monster to a pair of second place finishes. BigDuty's Porsche 911 GT3 scored a podium in race one, while Roscoe piloted his Cadillac CTS-V to a third place finish in the nightcap. Arguello's #77 Ford GT had a great run to a top five finish, only to have electrical problems and was not able to make the grid in race two. Dr PiiHB's Hawk Performance Nissan GT-R finished fifth in round eleven. A large thirteen car field started race one for the GT class, only to have three drivers withdraw before race two with various mechanical issues.
The Mitsubishi Evo made a big return to the track as Blakey tops the podium twice in his #89 Go Speed Lancer. This is his first trip back to the champagne room since round one. A pair of podium newcomers fill out the steps for rounds ten and eleven, DirtyDawg takes home a second and third in his #73 Compass360 Subaru, while Simcik had a great night with a third and a second place finish for the #5 Shiner Bock Dodge Challenger. Jp's #79 Evo finished forth in race one, but could not make the grid for the start of race two, while Pablo's #81 Maserati leaves Tsukuba with two top five finishes.
The series heads to Florida for rounds 12 & 13 on a track that will help and hinder all cars on different parts of the circuit. Will the GT class be able to stay close to the Team-M Sport Bentley, or will the Porsche's have enough speed and handling to pull off the victory? The Cadillac CTS-V's may have the power and grace to bring home the large plate. For GTS, will the points leader get the Camaro back to the podium, or will it be the other American muscle cars that take home the giant fake check?
From the sunny south, it's the Florida Grand Prix at Sunset Peninsula Raceway!
Racing Note: The Sunset circuit layouts make for a comprehensive test of driver skill, setup acumen, and automotive power. The 2.78-mile full circuit combines the oval with the extremely technical (and utterly flat) infield sections, where even the slightest mistake in driver judgment can end your race. Handling cars will have an advantage on the infield, while the power cars will dominate the high banks, it is the ultimate challenge for tuners, speed or handling.
Schedule Note: Practice schedule & session times subject to change, dependent upon driver availability.
Looking forward to the race. Globe Motorsports engoneering team has done amazing things to make the Lambo handle this track very well.

That's great. Setting up for one of the best finishes to a race you can ask for, a four car battle for second place, and someone in the house decides to unplug the modem. Hope the battle was good. Can't wait to watch the replay.

Sounds like GT was similar to GTS, although we were wrecking. Everyone had some sort of issue; they either rolled it, or almost rolled it and tagged the wall..
I lead race 2 just past half-way and spun out through the infield. Ended up finishing 3rd and gave the win away.
It was fun though....

I used my launch to cut through the field and gain first at the star and i held it for 10 laps. I messed up a part and gave up the gap i needed to make. I dont think i could have hoped to hold it. But then right as Roscoe and Moe were catching me i got a bounce off a curb that i havent flipped on much before. Instead of pitting i just toughed it out.

It was 9 & 9, not 9 & 7. We were excited for a while, but more racers showed up at the last minute for GTS.
It was another decent night for the Shiner Bock Challenger. I arrived just in time for qualifying, and in the rush I forgot to affix my restrictors, which meant I had to start from the rear of the pack for Race 1. We were 3-wide, 3-deep going into Turn 1, and thankfully we made it through. With a little luck on my side, I managed to squeeze out a P4 finish, but I was well behind the leaders. Lots of single car wrecks had drivers finishing all over the place, and unfortunately-timed clean laps meant the starting order for Race 2 was a little off as well.
We had a nice 4-car procession going in the middle of the pack, nose to tail all around the track, with Squid leading the way. He was starting to pull away when he got a little loose in the middle of the turns 7 and 8 and clipped the wall. My teammate went skidding sideways, and started rolling back into the racing line. Myself and the two other right behind me narrowly avoided catastrophe and made it through okay, but Squid's night was done. Kudos for the heads-up call to bail and keep the car out of traffic, not sure I would have thought to do that so quickly.
Lap 11 was fun for me, I nearly rolled the Challenger. I was on 2 wheels coming out of the tight chicane near the end of the track, and I was sure I had lost it. It just kept rolling, despite some steering input to try to slam it back down. It rolled so far that I heard a scraping sound, like the side of the car was rubbing the track. I gave it one last good hard-right steering input and the car slammed down to the track and I was able to keep going. It was intense! Race 2 turned out to be another battle of attrition, and I was able to bring it home 4th once again. I'll take it.
Good race, fellas! I'll try to put the replays up on my StoreFront later tonight, and maybe some pics.
(Sorry for not remembering where everyone else finished, I'll let someone else do a full-field recap.)

Duce Duce... Nagggle!!! Not the way I wanted to pass my brother from a South American mother but I earned that bitch like Ps on lap 15 of race one... Take a gander at the #14
The race started off alright, and gave me a good opportunity for some beauty shots for Team SRT:
Sadly, it went downhill from there...
Lap 4:
Squid is leading Simcik, Pablo, and Dirty into the high-speed S's when he get's a little loose and hits the wall on the left. The impact sends him careening sideways into the wall on the right, which sends him back into traffic.

Cool pics but um.... I like Rosco's "Near Death Experience" better, never cheered anything on as much... till he landed, FFS!!
Haha anyway I need to clear out my Tuning Catalogue as it's getting a bit filled up of dated copies and "tweaks" ect, does anyone want to try out either of my Bentley's for the previous two rounds? I'll happily upload them on request.
2010 Bentley Continental Supersports: Road America straight-line Toy which overtook TWO McLaren's and a 4 door in the same Section, very easy to drive but risky when overdriven. Also a Tsukuba schockfest, spent more time tuning this car there than almost anything else, lack of track experience plus 3,600lbs+ in the corners wasn't gonna survive slacking.
2011 Bentley Platinum Motorsport Continental GT: Revealed during the previous meet at Sunset, Florida (Yes the Game says an imaginary circuit exists), was only used last minute as an "Emergency" to balance the Grid, my favourite Concept car to date and have to say, for the weight it has... is extremely surprising with its stability, and has a new place in my heart for that gorgeous bodywork.

On behalf of team Mitsubishi I would just like to say thank you to all our fans that came out to support and also our Team Managers and Mechanics and much thanks to our team engineer who put our car together for this race. We all thought that we would be lingering at the back for this whole race but to our surprize we kept up with the best of them. In the first race i had a little mishap n flipped it right in front of my team mate JP and even though the pit crew begged for me to come into pit i stayed out n toughed it out. In the second race Jp got his share of bad luck so did the leaders and that gave me to chance i needed to ensure another win for the team. We'll see you guys next week money for another exciting race.
Thank you to the series founder for having this amasing series that we're all apart of and again thanks to all our fans and my team mate JP and to everyone else in the series job well done guys....

You guys made a strong push for Mitsubishi Manufacturer points, they were falling off to a couple others but your Sunset performances put them within striking distance of Chevy.
