The GT Porsche of Sainted proved to be as quick as advertised at Motegi, taking fastest laps and pole positions in both races and a win in round one. Dr PiiHB's Hawk Nissan GT-R come away with a round two win over the Volvo of Bulin. Ladera is a different story, the patient will be rewarded and the pure handling track looks to favor the K-PAX McLarens. But don't overlook Bulin's Volvo, he is sure to be in the hunt for the top step. Mitsubishi came out on top in both GTS rounds, with JP winning race one and Blakey taking race two, Wolfpack's Blackdog Camaro finished second in both races. The last second arrival of the Mitsubishi's to the series, may have cost JP a round two victory because of electrical failure, with a full week of testing, they can only get faster. Also look for a great showing by the Maserati, driven by Pablo, and the Realtime Acura of Oddball. Monday will be mayhem at Ladera and will benefit only those who respect this deadly circuit. The GT field should tighten up this week, while the GTS group should see some fantastic battles.
(If less than 16 drivers are available to race, the classes will run together) (Drivers not making the qualifying session, will start race 1 at the back of the grid)
Racing Note: Ladera has plenty of run off area, lets try to keep at least two tires on the racing surface. Veering off to avoid contact is one thing, Do Not cut corners repeatedly to gain an advantage.
Schedule Note: Schedule of practice sessions may alter because of the Mother's Day weekend.
Thanks for the picture Manuel

I encourage everyone to practice here when you can. Its not a very hard track, but its different from most of the other tracks we race more often. Try to practice with multiple cars on the track as there are not too many areas where you have room to pass.
Treat the yellow areas like grass. One side's tires off is one thing, but not the whole car. Like Max said use those areas if it means your avoiding a collison, not to gain time or an advantage.
Last thing, although it looks like we will run seperate rooms again, if we do happen to get into the same room and run GT and GTS together please try to run clean laps durring qualifying. This more applies to GT drivers, but in the event you run a dirty qualifying lap, you will start behind GTS cars.

So I havent been able to get on till today since last Monday... What kind of "clean" lap times should I be shooting for? I completely forgot what we ran.
I agree that if Forza calls it clean then its clean but in race keeping two on the track is staying clean. Especially in the S's after turn one and the uphill off camber left on the back half. Going more off the racing surface can get ya caught in the naughty parts that will park ya quick and when that happens we all know someone will touch bumpers with ya against your will.

Also I found this on the interwebs and started working on it... As far as I can tell its a car that was built but never got to race. Looks cool though. Max this is the mid season switch I was talkin to that you mentioned "gotta follow the money" haha.

I will be on. Gotta do all I can to get my times down. I'm struggling here. So hopefully more people will be on than last night. Only had three at a time and four gt cars total.

Wow either I am practicing with slow drivers or times have dropped since yesterday. That's right on the heels of the gt field. It is a small track but that's some close times across 2 classes.

I have ripped it to a 53.9 but I was running a razor thin line between wrecking and spot on but it was a bit dirty as well so Im not happy with it. Im a mid to low 54 car still. Played alot with the tune but its pretty dialed in already. During testing I suggested adjusting my build a bit too much before season started. My honesty is biting me now it seems. Im to dumb to give up though so maybe everyone will be stupid drunk Monday night and I can steal a good finish haha.

My best so far have been a 51,8 and already tested with every single combination of downforce and springs. I dont think i can improve that a lot.

Hell of a practice we had tonight. Just kidding. I know pretty much everyone said they would miss. Well I got a few laps in. If anyone gets on later let us know. I need to run with some other cars. This track is TIGHT. Not much room.

This is the track that GT and GTS will run close time wise. Its a short track with short straights.
I know I'm out back in the GTS group. My average is low 54's with touching high 53's occasionally.
I'll try to get on as soon as I can Monday, but I probably won't make it on tonight at all.

Maybe someone bought it but the car I posted is a GS Conty series car built by Arrington Performance and Atlantic Autosport. Arrington (ShopHEMI.com) does mostly drag stuff for the Challenger/Charger/300s but worked on this as a venture into road racing. Never panned out though. I have read that its a SRT team scheme for that year so that why Hubinette has the same style.

You can tell that its a different wrap by looking at the placement of the Dodge stripes on the door that lay over way more on the Hubinette car. Id bet they are different cars because Hubinette Racing gets new cars direct from SRT and the Arrington car is a street car that was gutted to GS specs.

good job to everyone that missed my spun car out on the inside of the carousel. Blakey and I touched and the combination of that and the curbing spun the car out.Probably could have saved it without a line of cars behind me but I just looked the brakes and cranked it left and held it there to avoid a wreck. Learned a lot tonight for the TC race.

Excellent job of the GTS racers avoiding the wreck, thats exactly how it should go. Thanks to Wolf pack too for staying put to allow the group by safely.
Overall considering the size of the track and the amount of cars, we all ran fairly clean and had minimal issues. Great job everyone.
