I was wondering the class that needs drivers more GT or gts

My first instinct is that GTS will be more popular.

I know Im signed up for GTS in the Mopar Fast Lube Challanger but can always switch over to the Freaky Fast Freaky Good Jimmy Johns Viper. As always, #4 on the doors.

I'm still on the fence as to what I'll be in.

i'm on the fence too, curious as to wether there will be teams? wouldn't mind getting myself in with someone who can tune and stuff as i normally do, not overly fussed on the car or class though, seems like there will be good racing regardless here.

Arguello signed for the test race in the Ford GT, then Matt and Hired showed up with 2 more, so he doesnt know if the car will be available to be chosen, that have him thinking still in what class to race.

He have Forza escencial game, so he doesnt have many cars to choose from.

well sign-ups aren't open yet mate so i think everything's still free

I'm torn as well. I feel the GTR was more competitive in GT than the FRS was in GTS, but I've also been doing some testing with the Camaro and really like the way it runs.

Official sign up is not open, so no car has been spoken for. From what I have gathered from Matt is that he won't be a regular racer.

Teams is something that has come up, but it will probably take more form of Manufactuers' points. GT and GTS will have seperate manufacturer points. There is a section in the forum that explains that point system.

For car selection, try not to pick a car based on its time from Catalunya, or any other track compared to other cars. Try to pick a car because you like it because of what it is and/or you like the way that car feels. The performance of that car will be balanced throughout the season based on finishing position(s) and driver ability.

I used this example before, but Hired in the Boss 302 is gonna turn faster times than I will, so more than likely his Boss build will differ from mine based on our finishing positions throughout the season.

Yes, 2 drivers per car, unless we are overwhelmed by sign-ups.

Curious to see what your running Max, I may have an idea though.....

Last season in GTS we had like 5 drivers for the Cayman, I don't want to go through that again. With so many cars to choose from, I would be surprised if each one was taken twice, thats a bunch of people.

Also we put so much work into getting all the builds dialed in so it would be a bummer to see alot of that work go to waste. The cars all have alot of good qualities to them and plus a 5 car Cayman field would be BORING with no muscle to show em whats what.

Its wrong wheel drive, but capable if you know how to handle that sort of car.

Definitely has alot of speed that Acura. Just takes a FWD friendly driver/tuner to get the speed out of it at all the tracks. It was a bullet at Road America.

i think i can drive it ok, well as ok as i can drive anything. Tuning might trip me up..

The only trick is getting it to pitch in the corner... Tends to be slower into the apex and powers out. So it can battle well on long straight tracks but I noticed it was a tad vulnerable on tight tracks getting passed under braking. Thats based on the driver in the car in S1 though so I bet you would be pleased in it. The car bangs through gears hard... I think it has the double clutch so no delay.

Mike Skeen leaked the info early on his webpage.  So yes, the new Hawk GT ride is the Audi R8 GT3, which is what I'll be driving in our PWC series. There were 5 different designs for this car, I had no idea which one they'd use. It's been @ Willow Springs since last Thursday, with Z Germans, the crew said it's running well. Wrap being put on today, practice Friday @ 4PM PST, Qually Sat 5PM PST & Race Sunday @ 4:30PM PST.

Very cool. Back in my NR2003 days, one of the resident painters at Team Lightspeed! was contacted by Richard Childress Racing for permission to use one of his Resse's liveries for one of Kevin Harvick's cars. Last I heard, he's still working for them with livery development being just one of his duties.
